When is the last time you played “tag?” If you are an adult, then chances are it’s been awhile. Running around chasing after people still sounds fun (in theory. I’m just not so sure they would be OK with a random stranger hitting them, running away, all the while yelling “NO TAG BACKS!” Besides, I don’t work out near as often as I should, and any amount of running just doesn’t really sound like that much fun anymore.
My wife asked me to play a different game of tag with her a few months ago. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but she sat me down in front of a camera, sat next to me, and proceeded to ask me all sorts of crazy questions. Basically, if you get tagged you answer questions. It seems simple, right? Right.
Well, my wife posted this video on YouTube.

Anyways, just eight months after the video was posted, we have over 26,000 hits! That’s crazy. I would kill (not really) to reach that many people with my blog!
My wife started making videos on YouTube when she was pregnant with my 2 1/2 year-old. She basically documented her pregnancy week by week, and started connecting with people all over the world. Even though our babies are now here, she has continued to document on a pretty regular basis, and has made numerous friends (a few she’s even met). Well, one thing they usually request is to put me in more videos so they can watch us interact.
Since we have received so many requests for me to be in more of these videos, and the Husband Tag video was so popular, I surprised her a couple weeks ago with my own version of tag — The Wife Tag. I believe the Husband Tag was an e-mail tag that went around on YouTube and lots of couples ended up answering the same questions. Not wanting to be outdone, I made up my own version.

Who knows if this video will ever be as popular as the Husband Tag? I guess it doesn’t really matter. I’m just glad I was able to play an old child-hood game without even breaking a sweat! Anyways, if you’re in a relationship or not, I encourage you to play this game with someone close to you. I think you will both have fun doing it, and I know I’m looking forward to playing tag with my next victims (my two older girls) soon.
